Hello everyone,

The second release candidate of Prometheus 2.37 is out!

Prometheus 2.37 is the first Long-Term Supported release of Prometheus,
it will be supported for _at least_ 6 months. See the approximative
schedule and explanations here:
https://prometheus.io/docs/introduction/release-cycle/

Prometheus 2.37.0-rc.1 for not bring visible changes for end users.
However, this releases introduces new artefacts for reusing the
Prometheus code as a Library, in the form of NPM pacages:

- https://www.npmjs.com/package/@prometheus-io/lezer-promql

As for go packages, we are mirroring user-facing 2.x releases with 0.x
library releases: the NPM packages are released as 0.37.0-rc.1. This
practice makes it clear that we do not provide strong compatibility
for libraries.

The v2.37.0-rc.1 can be found in the usual locations:

- See the full changelog & grab the binaries:
https://github.com/prometheus/prometheus/releases/tag/v2.37.0-rc.1
- See https://quay.io/repository/prometheus/prometheus?tab=tags and
https://hub.docker.com/r/prom/prometheus/tags for container images.

Best regards,
