Hello community!

The first release candidate for Prometheus v2.52.0 is publicly available!

It comes with several performance improvements, some good work on top of
native histograms, better observability for Prometheus internals, bug
fixes, and much more. Do take a look at the full changelog for completeness.

Changelog and binaries are available at
https://github.com/prometheus/prometheus/releases/tag/v2.52.0-rc.0 and
container images are available at
https://quay.io/repository/prometheus/prometheus?tab=tags and
https://hub.docker.com/r/prom/prometheus/tags

Please try them out, and feedback is more than welcome on our issue tracker
<https://github.com/prometheus/prometheus/issues>!

Cheers,
Arthur
