Hi team,

Seeing that "As an extra safety measure, you could optionally consider
upgrading to v2.55 first and confirm Prometheus works as expected, before
upgrading to v3."

We have currently bumped the prometheus package to the latest LTS version
v2.53.4, and plan to bump to 3.x. Now we have no idea whether to bump v2.55
which is not LTS.
So my question is: Is there any risk in upgrading directly from v2.53.4 to
v3.4.x? Or should I first upgrade to v2.55 and then to v3.4.x? Any
suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!"
