How to hide auth password writing in alertmanager for alerting.
I am running setup on docker
Version: 17.05.0-ce
API version: 1.29 (minimum version 1.12)
Go version: go1.7.5
DISTRIB_ID=Ubuntu
DISTRIB_RELEASE=16.04
alertmanager config:
route:
repeat_interval: 1d
group_interval: 1d
group_by: [Alertname]
# Send all notifications to me.
receiver: email-me
receivers:
- name: email-me
email_configs:
- to: receiver-emil-address
from: sender-email-address
smarthost: smtp.gmail.com:587
auth_username: "sender-email-address"
auth_identity: "sender-email-address"
* auth_password: "password"*
