Yes, have a look at the Blackbox Exporter (
https://github.com/prometheus/blackbox_exporter), which is meant for that
purpose. This blog post has a short tutorial on HTTP-200 checking:

(note
the blog post is a bit dated, so you might want to insert newer versions of
the components)
