wow, thank you very much for your help. In the git repo the sample web-config.yml uses tls_config. You have helped me a lot. Actually I have now :

I have tried to curl https://localhost:9100/metrics but received "connection refused". Actually I think that is a server problem and not a node_exporter config problem. Would you agree with me?
