Hi Guys, i have some confusion with alert manager and thanos rules for alerting and currently we are using grafana for alerting which is really bad and wanted to move to alert manager of rules.
As currently my setup is like below: i have running multiple Prometheus in multiple region of AWS and GCP and using thanos querier on above of them and then grafana connected with thanos querier and setup alerts on grafana. but now i wanted to move to some stable alerting system but i have some confusion regarding the same. like in current setup sometime i faced no-data alerts from grafana because my prometheus running in different region and some time due to latency thanos queier make prometheus unhealty. Now the main confusion with alert manager and thanos ruler. like if i setup alert manager then i have to setup alert manager with all the prometheus with that i have to setup multiple alert mangers with every prometheus. with is really bad in terms of manager them all and their rule files. so i got the other tool thanos rule which can fix my but am not sure if i setup thanos ruler then do i receive no-data alerts which currently am receiving from grafana. any suggestion please its really helpful. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Prometheus Users" group.
