I have different alert rules in different groups, I need one of them fire
alerts once a day
so I set the rule file something like this:
- name: my_rule
rules:
- alert: alert_name
expr: ( some expression ) < 1209600
for: *1440m*
labels:
severity: "critical"
annotations:
summary: "some summary "
according to alertmanager documentation by this rule file each alerts
should be in pending mode for 1140m or one day, but it will stay in pending
mode just for 20 minutes, and it will repeat based on my alertmanager
global interval time which is 2 hours,
how can I fix this problem? I can not change global interval cause other
rules needs to be send every 2 hours.
