Hi folks, A quick heads-up to users of trunk nightly builds with the telnet console enabled.
We are deprecating the telnet console in favour of a new `prosodyctl shell` command. This was *just* pushed to trunk, and will be in the next nightly. mod_admin_telnet *should* still work, but it has been modified somewhat so that it can share code with the new mod_admin_shell. I know some people use the telnet console in scripts and such, and parse the output. I wouldn't be surprised to learn that some such scripts break with these updates. The output was never intended for parsing, but if you see anything very broken in telnet, please let me know and I'll try to fix it. Meanwhile prosodyctl shell is very new, if you give it a try then feedback is welcome :) Regards, Matthew -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "prosody-dev" group.
