in hindsight I would have to say that the class was not really worth
the cost for me. I am no newbie to overall CAD, the course is more oriented
to newbies. The course covered only preliminary introduction to everything
about P99SE. The class I attended was actually taught by the former head of
Tech Services (Utah), Art Hatfield. Even within the class Art had mentioned
that he had been bugging Protel to do an advanced training course for PCB
only, Protel didn't want to do it. Art said he had figured that he could
easily do a two or three day advanced course on only PCB.
For a lot of the participants in my class, the two - three day advanced PCB
course would have been more preferable.
