Glad you got it Brad,
        my first suggestion would be that you had successfully deleted the
polygon outline. However the actual primitives filling the polygon remained
(for some stupid Protel reason). Once the outline was deleted then you could
not edit/select the primitives as a functional polygon. Were you able to
select the individual primitives making up the polygon and delete them
individually, just out of curiosity?
