Sounds like a typical Protel issue. Who me? I didn't cause the crash you're
imagining things, must have been somebody else, quick tell the OS we are
actually "??????" program! 8^>

        Just out of curiosity, does W2K still have the Dr. Watson in it?
Possibly that is where the mentioned crash log resides, much like NT4.
