On the wish list:

If we could assign components to classes at the schematic level,
then the rooms feature would become so much more usable. A user
controlled suite of options should allow not just assignment to
rooms based on schematic page, but by user defined classes also.

For that matter, I'd rather define net classes at the schematic
level also. I'd like to see something like a documentation box
(optionally) visibly placed on a page for each class defined,
listing each net/component/from-to in the class.

The only restriction I could see by doing this would be that
any net assigned to a class would need an explicit net name.
Having been burnt using classes of auto-named nets in the past,
this could only be a good thing!

Actually, a special text string could do it (rather than a box) -
something like:

.NETCLASS <ClassName>: <NetName1>; <NetName2>; ...

Of course, reannotation would need to update the class definition
boxes/strings also!
