hello,

i'm duplicating a legacy card from the card and some hardcopies of
the layer artwork. i assumed that there was a power and ground plane
when i did the schematic, but when i finished i discovered that there is
only a ground plane.

does a power port require a plane? i looked at the help and it calls the
ports simply a power or ground "net", which leads me to believe that i
can leave the power port designation as is and successfully do interactive
routing of the power line. but it doesn't "feel" that way on the pcb,
because
the rats nest depicts the power as sinking into an ideal node.

what i want to is if i am going to have to go thru the schematic and change
all the power ports to a plain ole net to run it as a trace.

thanks, miker
