That is *not* how it has been announced. ATS includes version upgrades. If 
Mr Tontis has not misunderstood the rep, I'm not the only one who has been 
misled....

I discussed this with Protel Sales and believed that my understanding had 
been confirmed. Yes, it is a good deal if you are a current Protel 98 
licensee, or even if you still have an un-upgraded 16-bit license.

Otherwise, what would be the point of October 1, the deadline before which 
99SE purchasers don't get ATS? After October 1, *they get the next version 
free.* It's been stated explicitly.
