We buy a custom LCD's from a far east factory. For that we send them a acad file with the signs and mechanical outline of the glass, and all other parameter needed. Some factories have a checklist for the information needed.
They all like to do the routing themselves, and it is included in the tooling cost anyway. If you provide any other information they need, you have a quick turnaround.
