I have converted/ translated maybe 50 files by now up to version PADS 3.5
with little or no problems.  Sure it isn't seamless but no electrical data
has  ever been lost, which is the  most important issue with me.     Silk
screen,  text, and pad stacks can get a little hosed up but they are easy to
fix.  We have several hundred designs  dating back to 1991 which we are
translating one at a time for production purposes.  All of the production
boards have been flawless in translation  ( read...the important data came
over).  I have  a great deal of confidence in the translator
