I'd say forget the concept. My issue here is that "Protel", or now "Altium", most likely do not test their code on "Lindows". What would I do if Protel failed due to an issued directly related to "Lindows". If I lost major time, or if my "Lindows" generated Gerbers came out at the wrong scale and cost me money, I couldn't blame Altium for poor code. All they have to say it that their product is not tested on Lindows and it's not their fault.
