You select the objects (right click and 'find similar objects' is probably the most obvious way). The bring up the Inspector panel (F11 is the default key). The inspector shows properties of all selected objects, the actual property if they are all the same or a <...> indication where properties differ. You can just type in or check/uncheck the property for all selected objects in the inspector panel.
