You don't need to anymore if it's a 2 pin part (resistor, inductor,
capacitor, maybe others as well) DXP will let you drop a part on a wire and
will break the wire and connect it for you automatically. You have to turn
on the feature in the Tools Preferences box. (Components Cut Wires)
