Hi Nick,

NP> PCAD 2000 can open PCAD 2001 binary, and the file can then be saved as
NP> binary and imported to Protel 99SE.

It work only for SCH files.

NP> PCAD binary should be forward/backward compatible (not sure how far back,
NP> maybe version 13, 2001 is 15?),
NP> but ASCII is not even forward compatible between 2000 & 2001.

For converting PCB ASCII P-CAD 2001 files to PCB ASCII P-CAD 2000 we
usual use special free converter.
