I use the simulator - I have got used to its quirks.  I use it for serious 
analysis but I am usually only modelling fairly small circuits - maybe 100 
or so transistor equivalent (say something like two to 5 op-amp 
macromodels).  The sim in DXP is better - at least the presentation and 
graphing ability is better and the new fourier analysis (independent of 
SPICE fourier analysis) is nice. I am not sure if  there are many changes 
to the underlying sim which is pretty much bog standard SPICE for analog 
simualtions.

It would be nice if the sim had some better models and the maths devices 
supported laplace devices directly.  (DXP has better maths devices I think 
but don't quote me on it).

I have also used the P99SE PLD module for a quick and dirty GAL16V8 design 
for a small test jig.  This was using text input (CUPL basically) and went 
OK. I don't bother using it on any more complex PLD.
