It seems that the list server has no effect on long URLs. Some clients wrap the URL on transmission. Some wrap it on reception. Some do neither. Eudora apparently recognizes a split URL as such and retains the click-through functionality. Not only that, but, when it retransmits it quoted, it reassembles the URL into one line - clever Eudora. I received the URL on one line from Leo (using Evolution/Linux) and it still appears intact as quoted below.
