it will be extremely difficult to find an truly independant review, the only way somebody can review CAD software is if they understand it completely and they know at least one other just as well so they have something to compare it to. Better yet to know 3, even better to know 4, in practice the more CAD systems you know the less you know about each one

usually a person is biased towards what they know best, as an example I used AutoCAD for over 10 years, knew it fairly well but not an expert, I learned SolidWorks a short time ago and if you ask me SolidWorks is far better. But really my opinion doesn't count, I know neither well enough to know it's true capabilities and limitations

and that's the problem, unless you know how to use it correctly, and know it well enough to know it's true limitations, you cannot give an accurate review, in addition what you use it for may not be what I use it for, may be great for one of us but terrible for the other
