Tried to send this yesterday, so apologies if it gets out twice....... I design a lot of one-off prototypes. These boards are fabricated on an isolation milling machine. Plated through holes are a luxury and ideally eliminated or minimised in this case. Most of these boards are relativly low complexity 2 layer boards (8 bit microcontroller stuff with some analog circuitry). I would like to be able to tell the autorouter to prioritise the bottom layer for routing so as to minimise soldering on the top layer and PTH. Can this be done in Protel 99SE, DXP or 2004?
