Hi, I also clicked on "ftp.cise.ufl.edu (Florida, USA) /pub/mirrors/tex-archive" and I either got errors or messages that my system was not configured to access the files. I am still confused as to why I cannot get or access LaTex. Feel free to call me at the work number below.
