library, or the
version of the standard library that you linked against doesn't match
the headers you
compiled against. I'm not familiar with your platform so don't know how
that would
happen. Are you using stlport? Other sun studio users have said that it
was needed.

Yes. You are going to need to use stlport4 - Cstd doesn't have good enough stl support for protobuf.

I recommend adding:

 -library=stlport4 -template=no%extdef

To your CXXFLAGS at the very least.

I do not have this platform available for testing so you will need to
send me a patch
that fixes the problem.
