New issue 236 by chelaris: Flush call on GzipOutputStream over
FileOutputStream causes program abort

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Compile attached slightly modified version of zcgzip.cc, which includes
Flush calls on GzipOutputStream and FileOutputStream streams.
2. Use binary together with the original gzip_stream_unittest.sh from
src/google/protobuf/io
3. The test will fail
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The same output as with original zcgzip.cc
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
libprotobuf 2.3.0 on Linux 2.6.35-22-generic i686
Please provide any additional information below.
