New issue 482 by [email protected]: The version of protoc in
protobuf-2.5.0.tar.bz2 is 2.4

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Download and unpack protobuf-2.5.0.tar.bz2
2. call "./configure --PREFIX=/usr" (I don't know it there is a problem
when installing in the default location.
3. "protoc --version" will be 2.4.x (I don't remembre the fix number)
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
- The expected output is 2.5.0.0
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
protobuf 2.5.0.0 on Ubuntu 12.04
Please provide any additional information below.
When I try the same thing with protobuf-2.5.0.tar.gz the protoc version
is good.
