New issue 543 by [email protected]: Unable to compile 2.5.0 on Debian

I've been working on upgrading the Debian package of protobuf to the 2.5.0
release and am having difficulty compiling and passing the tests.
Please find attached the build log, and the failing tests. I am happy to
provide any information that you require.
