TextFormat.print() uses DEFAULT_PRINTER which escapes non-ascii chars in
string, since TextFormat is mainly for debug purpose, it's more convenient
to read unescaped strings on screen, thus a printUnicode() method to use
UNICODE_PRINTER is desired. Or just open the private class Printer to be
public API.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
2.5.0, Mac OS X.
