I've been unable to get the Python protobuf library on Mac OS X working with Anaconda with Protobuf's cpp_implementation (which uses a C++ backend for Python's protobuf library to speed things up). Have others been able to successfully get this to work? I've opened an issue to track this: https://github.com/google/protobuf/issues/647
