Hello All,

I know very little about protocol-buffers except that I have recently
been asked to work with some code which uses it. A recent change in the
repo appears to have broken a tool I am using. Petalinux is a thin wrapper
around Yocto with some
pre-established settings and recipes for use by people who are using Xilinx
products. Buried fairly deep in this code is a yocto recipe which tries to
fetch branch 3.4.1 of the google/protocol-buffers repo. It worked about a
week ago. I just ran it again, and it breaks, saying it cannot find it.
Upon investigation, it appears that there is no branch labelled 3.4.1 in
that repo. There is a 3.3.x branch and a 3.5.x branch and a 3.5.1.1
branch. I can modify at least my version of the petalinux stuff to pull
one of the other branches, but -- I lack the experience and knowledge to
make an intelligent choice. Could one of you kind and knowledgeable guys
either put the 3.4.1 branch back (if its disappearance was an oversight) or
advise my as to which branch is the closest / best replacement? Thanks.

P.S. If anyone has a friend working at Xilinx it would be a nice gesture
to let them know about it also.
