I recently was given a .proto file that had whitespace (newline and spaces)
inserted in the middle of a fullname. The pbjs parser which comes with
protobufjs threw an error, but when I spoke to our partner’s engineer about it,
he said it was valid syntax produced by the clang formatter. I would like to
confirm whether this is accurate.
Here is a sample snippet,
rpc CreateChangeReview(
xxxxx.yyyyy.zzzzz.proto.change_validation.CreateChangeReviewRequest)
returns (xxxxx.yyyyy.zzzzz.proto.change_validation
.CreateChangeReviewResponse) {}
This is the error I get back from pbjs
