Hi all, My suggestion is to include version number in filenames of protoculous in protopacked like it is already done with prototype and scriptaculous. In current archive for example protoculous-packer.js.gz should be changed to protoculous-packer.2.15.js.gz.
This way we would know just by looking at the filename what version we are using but most of all we can give directive for proxy servers to store this file for a very long time and just change filename when new version will arrive.
