My team at Google is working on an open source Javascript sanitizer, Caja. You can find more about it here: http://code.google.com/p/google-caja/.
I've also blogged about it a couple of times: http://www.links.org/?p=294, http://www.links.org/?p=291, http://www.links.org/?p=285, http://www.links.org/?p=281, http://www.links.org/?p=271. OK, more than a couple :-) Anyway, to cut a long story short, we'd really like to get Prototype working with Caja. This means changing some of the Prototype internals - but we think we can do it without changing how it is used, and also such that it would work either under Caja or with plain JS. So, I was wondering: a) How the core team feel about this? b) Whether there's anyone that would be interested in working with us to make this happen? Cheers, Ben. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Prototype: Core" group.
