You might want to use the afterFinish() callback on one effect to call the next one. While Scripty effects guarantee to finish in the time they say they will, there may be network lag to account for if any of the events rely on Ajax callbacks. Chaining the effects through callbacks is rock-solid, and keeps you from a whole other world of errors where an effect is called on an element that's been removed.
