Hi everyone!

I met Vince from Vernier System who attends the "Portland Model
Engineers" club. Once a month, a bunch of hobby machinist folks meet to
show off what they've machined and usually do a tour.

This month -- this Saturday 1/13 -- it's at PCC Sylvania. I think this
might be an incredible resource for us for getting parts made.

I'd go myself, but I'm out of town this weekend. Can someone show up for
this? And see if anyone is interested in helping out? Here's the
announcement:

--------------------------------------------------------

When: January 13, 2018 1PM
Where: PCC Shop - Sylvania Campus
                  12000 SW 49th Ave. Portland, OR 97219

Happy New Year

Our January meeting will be in the machine shop at the Sylvania campus
of Portland Community College. Thanks to Don Birkley for setting this
up. Plagiarizing information he sent me:

Parking permits are not required on Saturday for the general student
parking area. All other reserved areas (faculty/staff, loading, college
vehicles only, etc.) are still enforced.

The shop is in room AM-113 In the lower level of the
automotive/machining building.
