Hi All: There is interest in doing another review class for the ham radio license exam. The list of exam dates [1] is on the ARRL web site. There is an exam this weekend, but the most realistic date in my opinion would be the 9-Mar-2008 date here in Portland.
The typcal strategy is to buy the test study guide called "Ham Radio License Manual" [2] available at ARRL, or maybe Powells or Amazon as well. Read through it, and then take the sample test in the book. Also go over the exam question pool [3] on the ARRL site. Then come to the review with questions, and after go off and take the test. I will go ahead and decide on having the review the weekend of 9-Mar, however the day (Saturday or Sunday) I am still open to. I will choose Sunday 9-Mar-2008 at 2pm at FAB 155? unless there is strong desire for another time. The test date/time that seems reasonable for most is at Round Table Pizza [4] Sunday evening at 8pm just off Barbur Blvd. in SW Portland. Please let me know if anyone interested in this has a problem with this date/time.
