Hi everyone,

Slightly off topic, but for those of you who are still doing model
rockets (like me!) and looking for something to do this Saturday, let me
recommend a quick trip up to Seattle:

A Presentation by Model Rocket Enthusiast, Bill Stine
When Saturday, May 3, 2008, 2 – 3:30pm
Where William M. Allen Theater

The five years between the launch of the first artificial satellite,
Sputnik 1, and launch of the first Americans to enter Earth orbit were
heady times. The passions of the times spilled over into a new hobby,
model rocketry. Bill Stine, who inherited from his father, G. Harry
Stine, a passion for model rocketry, is a model rocket expert who
founded Quest Aerospace, a major supplier of model rockets. He is
co-author, with his father, of the 7th edition of the Handbook of Model
Rocketry. Mr. Stine will present the history of the development of this
exciting hobby, based on his father’s personal memoirs.

Program is Free with Museum Admission

Should be fun!
