## Thank you, Maria!

Maria, our fearless student club leader, has to step down because she's
taking a bzillions of credits this coming academic year. She's going to
be so busy, in fact, that (like Glenn during his last year) I've
banished her from all things rocket (Ha! like I could), just so that she
can get her classes in. Then she can come back and have fun with us in July.

So all hail Maria, fearless handler of all things SALP for the last
year! If it weren't for the work she put in over the last few years,
there would have been *no* way we would have launched in May.

Thanks Maria!

## PLEASE help us with SALP!

If we want to do several launches this upcoming year, it looks like we
really will need the money that SALP provides, and it's probably worth
jumping through the hoops to get it and be an "official" student group.

This requires:

1x student who can be the SALP lead and our "club president"
2x students to be officers and to help the president, mostly with
meeting where we need at least three people.

Maria informs me that it's really not a lot of work. It's a few hours
here and there per month, dropping off an occasional form at the SALP
office and picking things up. But the club president does have a few
deadlines to meet, and it's important that he/she keeps up with those

The other two people can be slackers, but they do need to be available
for meetings.

So please, if you are current student (where student in this case means
greater than or equal to half time), and want to *really* help out PSAS,
please contact me and we'll chat!
