Sony sponsored a student rocket project to space that launched last
week. I don't quite understand all the details of the project, but it
seems that Sony sponsored it, an amateur group helped the students build
the rocket, and although Sony claimed success, it seems like it actually
failed? I can't tell, really. Interesting, though, especially with a 3 P
cluster + P upper stage!

Looks like they had fairly standard avionics, as well as HD video. This
is the kind of sponsorship we should think about for September, and
certainly after September's roll control flight.
