We've mentioned this in the past few meetings, but in case you missed it: we're kicking off a sensor fusion study group this week.
Like the GPS study group, we'll meet at 6pm on Tuesdays, before the regular meeting, except not on the first Tuesday of each month since that's the intro meeting. In this study group, we'll teach ourselves how to deal with the problem of a pile of noisy sensors. You don't need a background in control theory for these sessions; we'll figure it all out together. Some linear algebra or basic statistics might come in handy, but don't worry about it too much. In this week's session we need to figure out what background everyone who's interested has, what you want to get out of the group, and explore some of the basics of the sensor fusion problem. See you there! Jamey
