Good Morning!
As part of The National Day of Service, the Urban League of Portland Young
Professionals and iUrban Teen have partnered to host a S.T.E.A.M. event for
youth ages 11-18. We are looking for S.T.E.A.M. students and professionals
to participate in an exploratory career fair from 10am-11:15am on Saturday
April 23, 2016. Each volunteer will have a table (or station) where they
will share information about what they do in their careers. Each presenter
will bring visual props related to their occupation in order to provide
participants with a hands-on learning experience.
We would love to have representation from your student group. I believe you
will be great role models for the youth in attendance. I have attached the
event description and flyer. If you have any questions or are interested in
participating, please let me know.
