This workshop examines important aspects linking Human Resource 
Management and Financial Results. As more companies recognize and 
depend on human, intellectual capital over tangible assets in the 
competitive marketplace, the merger of VAE and EVA becomes ever more 
powerful for business leaders. Companies that leverage their Value 
Added Employee (VAE) activities cannot help but generate superior 
Economic Value Added (EVA)."

The e-Comp Developer is a guide to help employees become more self-
competent (and at the same time more self-confident). Tips for 
developing thirty-four competencies are outlined along with 
instructions on how to identify the competencies needing 
development. The thirty-four competencies have been selected based 
on the practical experience (and research) of a leading consulting 
firm that has helped numerous organizations construct 
competency "job models" and apply those models to performance 
management, training and development and selection. You will learn 
the theory and practice of Competency Development Process in depth. 
You will learn what it is, why it works, how to execute it and when 
it should be applied. You will also learn who is using it and WHERE 
it is being applied. At the conclusion you will be equipped to apply 
the technology in your own firm or practice.
