I suppose I was more interested in your opinion as to how I'm interacting with the existing pspp code. For example, the way I'm wrapping the dictionary object. I know you weren't entirely happy about linking the gui with the main code. So I'm rather anxious to know if you see any major stumbling blocks with the way I'm going. As far as GTK+ is concerned, I'm no expert either. I've written small projects before, but it's certainly going to need some input from someone more knowledgable before we'll see a really professional result. But anyway, I've been thinking about it a bit more, and it should be possible to get a gui capable of reading and writing system files before too long.
