Done.   You'll now get a Gtk-Critical at start up, if the gtk library
that you're running against is not compatible with that psppire was
compiled against.

The configure script checks for gtk >= 2.6. Recently, I've been  running
gtk-2.8; I don't think I've used any 2.8 specific features, but can't
guarantee it.
