Just two suggestions:
1. I suggest that you start with a definition of "system file". It's a term
which is confusing to people not familiar with SPSS/PSPP.
2. Didn't we recently discover a "codepage" field, used to determine the
character set of the string data? I don't see it mentioned anywhere.
