I'm wondering whether we shouldn't remove po/pspp.pot from the CVS repository. It's a built file, so there's no good reason for it to be there. The only reason I added it in the first place is so that translators can easily get hold of it without having to build pspp.
But almost every change requires it to be rebuilt, but that will not happen unless make -f Smake is run. So it's often out of date anyway, which means that the purpose of having it in CVS is largely defeated.
