Strange enough on openSUSE it works nice and without a problem when --infodir is used with configure. The bad thing is that when you didn't use --infodir yelp won't say anything about files not found. So when you hit the help, nothing happens. If you use yelp from a console you get the ugly errors as I wrote in a previous message. But this happens for other yelp info packages too! Maybe it is time for a line "openSUSE" with a link "Installation Instructions" to http://jstover.motd.org/cgi-bin/oddmuse.cgi/openSUSE on http://www.gnu.org/software/pspp/get.html It could help openSUSE users starting with PSPP.
